Epoxy varnishes and paints

Epoxy varnishes and paints are used on light traffic concrete floors in large warehouses as well as in smaller utility areas. This solution is usually chosen to make the floor more dust-resistant and hygienic. The thickness varies between 0.3–0.5 mm, depending on the traffic intensity.

Epoxy varnishes

Epoxy varnishes are available in a wide range of properties. There are untinted solvent-based acrylic varnishes, two-component solvent-free epoxy varnishes, two-component water-soluble epoxy varnishes and polyurethane varnishes. However, most varnishes are used to cover concrete, stone or coloured sand surfaces (spreadable and mosaic coatings) and for dustproofing, both indoors and outdoors.

As with epoxy varnishes, epoxy paints can also be used to dustproof and finish concrete, metal or wood surfaces. This involves the use of either solvent-containing two-component, solvent-free or water-soluble paints. The wide range of colours is one of the benefits of epoxy paints.
